I am a post-doc in the Bioinformatic Core at the Joint Center for Structural Genomics (JCSG) and work closely with Adam Gozik's lab at the Burnham Institute. I received my Ph.D. in Biology from a joint program between Johns Hopkins University and the National Institutes of Health. I completed my thesis, entitled, "A Threading Retrospective: Monte Carlo Alignment Sampling vs. Dynamic Programming, or the Turtle vs. the Hare", in Steve Bryant's lab, the Structure Group, at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).
